Staff was very helpful and courteous.

First (non-smoking) room reeked of cigarette smoke and we were unable to stay in it. Desk clerk was very apologetic and gave us a different room. Bed in second room was so hard it was virtually impossible to sleep in. Actually put the bed cover under the sheet to provide some padding. We would have been better off sleeping in the parking lot. Many out of state home improvement workers were staying in the hotel and were constantly drinking in the parking lot and leaving beer cans on the walk outside of rooms and between cars in the parking lot. Very dirty.

That it was close to Mcdonalds

The front desk guy was not very hospital,,we needed more towels and he didn't let us have more than just the 2 that were already in our room... Very bad service!

Staff was in general very friendly, the pool was allright, not noisy (big plus) and cleaning mates were reliable. Good tradeoff for a cheap motel on the highway.

Elevator is dirty and creepy. Sometimes strange people around the pool who don't seem to live in the motel but come instead from other places or homes. Sort of a lower-class meeting point for cooling off. Lots of incredibly fat women around. Nevertheless, it's a cheap motel and they fulfilled all expectations if you don't have many.

  • Family with children

I likes the price of the hotel.

There were some ants in the bathroom area we had to deal with. They did come and spray, but shoudn't had to deal with that in the first place.

  • Group of friends

It was just off the interstate and easy to get to once you understood the layout of the streets.

The room smelled musty and the door had no weather sealing--you could literally see daylight comming through the bottom of the door. The bathtub had odd rust/water stains and the water pressure was low when you tried to take a shower. The pillows were flat (I understand that this is a budget hotel, but these were truely awful). There was no information regarding the layout of the facility and management had little to no knowledge on directions to or from area attractions.

Upon arrival in the evening, we observed over 30 guests/construction workers in the parking lot drinking alcohol. While walking from our room to the main lobby, we were almost struck by a speeding/reckless car driven by a guest. Other guests were being loud and obnoxious so we decided to go to the front desk to speak with the staff. We were informed we could not be refunded for our stay because it was booked online. The manager, Saleem accused me of being racist towards Hispanic roofers staying at the hotel. For financial reasons, we stayed at the hotel. At 7am, we awoke to the sound of water flowing only to find a massive leak from the ceiling above the shower from the floor above us. The water to the hotel had to be shut off and we were unable to shower that day because of it. When we returned, the floor had not been cleaned from ceiling debris. At checkout, I informed the staff about the issue requesting a deduction from the bill and was told we would have to speak later in the day to a manager. While eating breakfast both mornings we observed other guests upset about charges and the water. I was also upset that while sitting at a table eating breakfast, we were asked to pick up our feet while the staff member swept under our table. Worst experience at a hotel….ever.

Location and ease of access and it was reasonably priced.

Management was poor. I booked a month in advance for two people, at arrival the room had only one wash cloth and one hand towel, there were two bath towels however. I went to the office around 7pm to get an additional wash cloth and hand towel and was told the night manager would be able to help me at 9pm. At 9pm the manager (Vivian) told me that nothing could be done until 7am. About 30 minutes later Vivian came by with the missing hand towel and wash cloth. The third night only one wash cloth and hand towel was available again. I had to go to the office and again Vivian went to the laundry to get what was needed. The morning coffee was empty for two mornings, the dining area was dirty with food droppings and milk on the tables on two days within sight of staff, (not Vivian). I saw Vivian replenishing food a couple of times. It seemed like she was the only one doing anything. The level of concern for customer concerns was summed up with a front desk display about staying at the inn with business cards available for taking, they only had the hotel's address, no staff name on the card. I worked for Holiday Inn for 7 years serving the public, I know it is not easy but can be rewarding. The staff here seemed to be demoralized and worn out (which might be an upper management problem). They just seemed to be going through the motions (except Vivian who did make an extra effort but seemed to be frustrated and swimming against the current). The place seemed to be fully booked every night, a lot of roofers due to a recent hail storm and a softball events, the back to back crowds may have had something to do with the problems.

If you are going for business not a good place to stay.I could not get any sleep, due to people having parties.I probably won't be staying at this hotel again.

I liked the price I paid for the hotel, but it could have been better. They had free WiFi, plenty of hot water almost instantly and a comfortable bed. Slept like a rock! The front desk staff very friendly, polite and professional. Helpful when I called for directions. They used cfl light bulbs in the room. Which I thought was very energy conscience.

The room was okay. It was quiet for the most part and the temperature was good. The door however was not sealing completely and I could see the outside lights at night, around the edges of the door. The big window was filthy and needed cleaning on the outside. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper and the whole room itself needed updating as far as the sound tiles in the ceiling were concerned. The Hotel as a whole was showing it's age. The free WiFi was not fast or consistent either. The lighting in the room could have been brighter. The built-in drain plug for the tub needed fixing.

  • Family with children

It was close to the activities we were involved in for the day.

We could not get into our room initially because the door to the room would not open with the card. After going back to the office, they told us the card was fine but that you had to hold the door in a certain way to get it to open. We went back to the room, and five minutes later, we were able to get into the room. We had to deal with that everytime we left/re-entered the room. Once we got into the room, we noticed a horrendous smell. We finally realized it was coming from the door to the adjoining room next to us. We opened the door and found old, smelly clothes that someone had left there. We dealt with the smell the remainder of our stay even after I discarded the clothes. The stopper in the sink didn't work. We were also under a tornado warning for the area but got no notification from the hotel staff.

    It was easy to find.........

Somehow I got booked for 2 rooms and only needed one. I would like a refund.

  • Older travelers

The price was very good when I booked online.

Breakfast was a long outside walk from our room.

  • Older travelers

The bed was nice and handy-cap room was just about the size of a normal room.

First room 119 smelled like death wormed over, something died in their...the front door had a big dent in it,like it was kicked in. The bathroom door had just been patched with plaster, covering a big hole. Asked for an upgrade and was given room 121 handi-cap. The bathroom was so small the a handi-cap person could not go to the batroom and close the door. Lastly the cont. Breakfast was the pits. We went early to be sure to get a good choise of food. No pasteries, no jouice, no hot choco, frozen milk, frozen bread , no jelly,,,,,,not a good trip.

  • Older travelers

Overall, the place was very clean and a good value for the money.

There were no rooms with a refrigerator left after we had reserved a room a week ahead of time. Also, we didn't receive the room we reserved (bed-wise)

The lady at check in was very nice and friendly. I wasn't there much but everything was fine while I was there. Happy to have coffee pot in room. Nice stay for a lower budget trip.

The bed was not very comfortable. Would have liked to have had a refrig. In the room.
